Game designer and teacher with an MA in Game Design from Falmouth University.

 

I have been teaching Games Design since 2016, working with industry professionals to design assignments and curricular. I am particularly interested in difficulty (drawing on my experience with differentiation in teaching) and creating games that provide engaging experiences for time-poor gamers. I'm currently working on a blend of Cosy Games and Souls-Likes, attempting to do for Dark Souls, what Celeste did for hard-core platformers.

A combat-free RPG built on a card game that allows players to craft their own stories. Loot is replaced with story fragments, meaning your stories become richer as you explore and progress.

Cosy-Souls

Cosy -Souls is an exploration of difficultly and how integral it is to a Souls-Like experience. The project aims to produce gameplay that blends Souls-Like and Cosy Games.
